This brooch is handmade from the finest quality glacier porcelain giving it a translucent quality. It is exceptionally light weight - only 3 grams!

I hand make each brooch in my garden studio out of porcelain before being fired in the kiln twice. The gold is then applied and is fused onto the glaze in a third firing. Each brooch takes approximately a week to complete.
